Icloud shared photo albums not automatically updating in Windows

Can someone please assist me? I have my iCloud synced to my Windows PC, but when I open the D Drive > Icloud Photos > Shared > "Album", it doesn't show all of my recently synced photos in that shared album. How do I get this folder to update on my PC, so I can see all of the recently added photos in the shared album?

Well, I really don't think this is issue is related to the network connection issue. It is likely related to the iCloud Shared Album Apps itself.

Anyhow, any chance to seek further advice from the iCloud Shared Album Apps support?

Icloud shared photo albums not automatically updating in Windows

Hi Hannah, hope you're doing well. I’m Ian, and I’m happy to help you today.

You can try the steps below.

1. Ensure your iCloud Photos Library is turned on. To check, go to iCloud.com and click on "Manage." Make sure you have enabled "iCloud Photos" for all your devices.

2. Disconnect your Windows PC from iCloud and reconnect it. Sometimes, simply disconnecting and reconnecting can help with syncing issues.

3. Open iCloud Photos on your Windows PC and make sure all the shared albums you want to see on your PC are checked. You can access this by right-clicking on your iCloud account icon in the system tray and selecting "iCloud Photos."

4. Update iCloud Drive. This will force iCloud to re-sync your shared albums with your PC. Right-click on the iCloud icon in the system tray and select "Update Now."
