    The new update forced me to wipe my hard drive


    So I had Windows installed on a SSD. The update automatically installed and gave me a BSoD, my computer refused to boot. No recovery option worked, I literally had to wipe my hard drive in order to install windows again. I'm extremely angry because I obviously lost all my files on that hard drive only because Windows isn't capable of releasing updates without critical bugs like that one

    modder I already used kill-disk. The deletion is done, I need to reinstall everything.

    The best utility to use to wipe a hard drive is definitely DBAN. You can do an all-out wipe, or simply write all zeroes to the drive.
