  1. The new Windows 10 update (probably?) causes a lot of trouble.

I am not 100% sure how to explain my issue, so Ill just say what happened:

After a while of not playing minecraft, I decided to play it yesterday. It crashed, and I though its a minecraft issue. it kept giving me errors about not enough memory even though I definetly have enough both allocated to the game, and avaivable in the system. after some struggle I managed to launch the game (today I had the same problem). howether, when I closed the game I noticed that discord also crashed for no reason. I was pretty confused but I passed it off assuming its just a 1 time thing, but nope. Today I launched a different game and after playing it, it crashed, which it almost never did before. I tried turning it back on and it crashed again together with discord And chrome. The issue persists and I am VERY confused to why it happens. This didnt happen before the update.

The update also Reset my windows screenshots, causing them to start counting from 0 again, and blacked out videos when I launch an app in fullscreen.

TLThe new Windows 10 update (probably?) causes a lot of trouble. :DR Random apps Crash, causing other apps to crash for no reason, other issues that seem to be caused by the update.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

  3. Windows 10 fails to update

When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.
