    The number indicator of volume still appears, but the volume bar has disappeared.


    I was trying to change my volume and then brightness. But somehow, the number indicator of my volume still appeared, but the volume bar has disappeared. I wonder how to fix this without restarting my laptop. I have read similar question on Microsoft Community and an advisor just suggested the op restarted his device which implied this bug continues to exist without any plan to remove it. Did you think one turned on his device to play some mini games and can simply restart his device when this bug emerged???

    Volume indicator upper left of screen


    Howdy, new here and my first post. I just upgraded from Windows 7 64-bit to Windows 10 Home. Install went smooth but I am noticing something undesired. Whenever I adjust my volume, a vertical bar appears in the upper left of my screen indicating the volume level. It looks like this:

    The box is immovable, but only lasts for 5 seconds (I adjusted the length of display to the minimum time allowed). My personal preference is to either move the bar or disable it; I find the location rather bothersome. However, I cannot seem to find any method to relocated the bar or disable it. Anyone have any experience with this, or suggestions?

    Volume Slider suddenly disappeared

    Hi There

    My volume slider in Windows 10 suddenly disappeared.

    Usually I click once on the volume icon on the task bar and the volume slider appears and I can easily adjust the volume.

    The volume icon is still appearing on the task bar next to the wifi icon but when I click on it, I have to click twice and instead of the volume slider appearing, (which was there an hour ago), it brings up the volume mixer with the speakers, system sounds
    and google chrome.

    Anyone have any ideas how to correct this?

    Volume Icon on Task Bar is gone!

    The Volume icon on the task bar has disappeared. I cannot changed the volume! There is an ^ symbol now and that gives a box with a number of items I never use. How do I get the Volume icon back!!?
