    The "open file" dialog doesn't show who has the file open.


    I recently had an issue where a user couldn't delete a file because it was open. The "open file" dialog typically says what user has the file open, but this time it did not. Is there a reason why it wouldn't show who had the file open? The end user wants to know what we can do to make sure it tells her every time what user has the file open, so she can contact that person directly, rather than going to the Help Desk to find out.

    opening .dds files with gimp

    Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

    PowerPoint file crashes PowerPoint upon opening

    since this happens in some of the computers only, suggest that you open the file on working computer and copy everything and paste to a new powerpoint file.
    most of the time it works to me. *Smile The "open file" dialog doesn't show who has the file open. :)

    Hi Gary

    In order to get a better idea of the problem, can you please provide a screenshot of a listing of those folders in Windows File Explorer and also in the Open/Save dialog, which shows folder that cannot be seen in that dialog . . .
