    I finished building my first PC yesterday. When it came time to install the OS Windows 100, it started to work just fine.


    I plugged the flash drive with the OS into the computer and restarted it, then I chose the language, time, etc. Inputted my product key, chose the custom space to put it, which was Drive 0 Primary it had over 1800 GB. Once I did this, it started the installation process got all the way to 99% and shut the computer down.


    When I turned the PC back on, It had me try the whole process again. This time it shut down earlier on the percentage progress screen. I tried a third time, and again it shut down during installation.


    I tried troubleshooting the problem myself and found out that apparently the Drive 0 System Reserve part of the install should be between 300 and 450 MB, but mine only had about 24.


    I looked into attempting to resize the file to make it the proper amount, but because I'm not the most tech savvy, I couldn't quite figure it out. So I called it a night and decided to put my question out here.


    What can I do to properly install Windows 10 onto my built PC?

    Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

    I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
