Windows 10: THE PERIPHERALS ARE NOT WORKING IN THE LOCK SCREEN AFTER RESETTING

Recently, four days back I installed a new OS windows 10 pro in my desktop pc. One day ago, I gave the pc to reset cause it crashed for two times while installing a antivirus application. Then when it booted again it didnt made to the windows lock screen, instead of that the pc showed me that - it has been repaired so trying fixing it out by restarting or shutdown and i did the both because it never made the way to the lock screen, so third option was the last that 'reset pc' i just clicked it and it started resetting for while and automatically it booted and it got struck in the lock screen after resetting and there was no response and light from the keyboard and mouse. Usually the lock screens use to show the shut down option in the bottom right corner in every windows 10, but in my pc it showed only the option of network connection and in the left bottom corner date and time. There is no response from the keyboard and mouse AFTER this resetting. How can I fix this problem.

Lock Screen Image Issue

I would suggest you to set the default pictures as the Lock Screen picture from the PC and check if it works or not.

Follow the steps below:

• In start type "settings" and press enter.
• Select Personalize
• From the left click on "Lock screen"
• Select the default picture and conform by preview.

Lock screen woes

I would suggest you to follow the below steps to try resolving the issue.

Setting the timeout for Lock Screen

• Press Windows + I and select personalization.
  
• Select Lock screen.
  
  
• Select the Screen Timeout setting.
  
• Select the time of timeout you need and check.

If you can not slide the lock screen it may well be an issue with the digitizer.

The only other suggestion I have is perform a hard reset to return the device back to factory defaults. If that does not work, you will have to send it in for repair/replacement sushi21.

Steps to hard reset using phone buttons:

• With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and DOWN buttons, and then briefly press the POWER button.
• Wait for the screen to show the instructions on how to do the factory reset, and then release the VOLUME UP and DOWN buttons.
• Follow the instructions onscreen to factory reset your phone.
