Windows 10: The picture does not change on the background when windows Spot light is marked

HI I was wanting to have some help please when I go to settings and click on personalizton then when I click on background a click on down menu that has windows spot light when it selected. Then exit and then turn off my computer and turn it back on the background changed yestetday but I noticed today that when my computer was turned on and I got to the desktop the background picture did not change. What I want to now is their away to fix this prblem with using the registry. I am not comfortable using the registry or making changes to it.Windows 11 home64 bit operating systemversion 22h2OS

Windows 10 Spot Light picture raises after sleep

Hi Ric,

Thanks for the response, however even with messing around with the settings you suggested, the issue still persists.

I tried to change to the spot light pictures and then switch back, also while swapping the lock screen background picture setting.

Nothing seemed to improve issue. Feel free to let me know if there is anything else I could try. But like you said, might have to wait for a patch.

In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things.

• Have you made any changes on the computer prior to the issue?
• Are you referring to desktop background image or lock screen image?

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the background picture and check if it helps.

• In the search type as ‘Settings’ and click on it.
• Select ‘Personalization’, under ‘Background’ option select as ‘Picture’.
• Under ‘Choose your picture’ select any picture accordingly or you can browse the picture from your computer.

I would suggest you to try the following steps:

• 
  Open Desktop Background by right clicking on the desktop clicking Personalization
  
• 
  Click the picture or color that you want to use for your desktop background.
  
• 
  If the picture you want to use isn't in the list of desktop background pictures, click an item in the Picture location list to see other categories, or click Browse to search for the picture on your computer.
  When you find the picture that you want, double-click it. It will become your desktop background.
