Windows 10: The pictures of Lock screen can not be changed automatically.

hello,After the system updating several month ago, I found that the pictures of Lock screen can not be changed automatically even I had setting up the lock screen pictures as Windows focusing instead of Local pictures. Also, the folder is blank under C:-Users-My user Id-App Data-Local-Packages-Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_Cw5n1h2txyewy-LocalState-AssetsSeems it can not updating the pictures form internet automatically, When I check my colleague's folder under the same link in their PC, there are several functions for lock screen pictures change.So how can I fix it? I do like to see

Lock Screen keeps changing

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Windows Spotlight picks the photos from Bing and displays them in the lock screen. I understand that you have set a picture and it is getting changed automatically.

I suggest you to follow the steps to select the Picture that you want to be displayed on the lock screen. Please follow the steps mentioned below to set a Picture to lock screen:

1. Press and hold Windows + I key on the keyboard to open settings.
   
2. Click on Personalization.
   
3. Click on Lock screen.
   
4. Click on the drop down under Background and select
   Picture.
   
5. Click on Browse and select the picture that you want to set.

Lock screen picture doesn't change anymore

My lock screen picture does not change anymore. Many others have this problem as well (Google search). A variety of fixes are suggested but most seem to involve messing with folder contents and even changing Registry entries. I am not comfortable with that.

Online, the simplest suggested fix I have found is:

1. In Personalization->Lock Screen settings change Background to Picture.
2. Delete everything from folder
   
   C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_<somecharacters>\Settings
3. In Personalization->Lock Screen settings change Background back to Windows Spotlight

First, if this is a consistent problem for so many, is Microsoft working on a fix?

Second, is the above solution safe to try?

I'd prefer it if someone from Microsoft Tech Support would weigh in on this.

Help! Can't change Lock Screen picture!

Hi, For some reason, since upgrading to Win 10 Pro 20H2, I am unable to set a custom lock screen picture. I can go to Settings\Personalization\Lock Screen and make my desired selection, but the system never honors that selection. I've even tried briefly changing my user permissions to Administrator...but still, no luck. (NOTE: I have no problem setting a desired custom desktop background picture....I just can't change the Lock Screen picture.)
