Windows 10: The pin isn't available and couldn't get the pin set up after the update

I just had an update for my computer. It went through a few restarts and showed a blue screen asking for a recovery code. I didn't know what it was so I viewed a video instruction and got to my Microsoft account to get the recovery code. During the time I was doing these steps, my laptop shut down. And when I reopen it, now requires me to put in my PIN to unlock the screen. When I put my PIN, it says it isn't available and asks me to reset the PIN. I clicked reset and it jumped to Microsoft login and I needed to enter a code sent to my Outlook email address. However, I don't see any code email

Problem login in with windows 10 PIN

My computer went with no battery and turned off.

After that I couldn´t login any more.

It says "Somtehing happened and your PIN isn´t available. Click to set up PIN again"

Below that there a Set up my PIN but it is doing nothing when I click on it.

There is no way I can acces to the safe mode either.

I´m using a dell laptop Inspiron 13. 7000 series. Windows 10.

If someone has an answer to that would be very helpful.

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

If this doesn't work, there are other procedures available to consider.
--- Some of them include registry changes.
--- Are you familiar with working in the registry?

BTW, have you saved your data along with a system image backup ready?
