Windows 10: The problem of Windows not loading when installing fedora

Hi all, I recently installed Fedora alongside Windows and Fedora works fine, but when I click on Windows in Grub, the computer resets and Windows won't boot. I thought Grub chose the wrong partition to boot Windows from, so I changed it. I did this, but the problem was not solved in Windows, it booted from sda1 and the computer was reset, but when I put it on sda2, it gave the message that the operating system was not found Windows is installed on it.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows is not an option in the GRUB after installing Fedora, cannot boot Windows

I had windows as my first os and installed Fedora to make a dual boot, but after that I erased Fedora's partition and reinstalled it, after it only Fedora appeared in the GRUB so i cannot boot into windows.

I already tried these two options:

• Redirecting
• Redirecting

But it doesn't seems to work.

I know that my files are still there because i can see the partitions from Fedora

Ok, so I managed to get Fedora installed. I used GParted to reformat and repartition the SATA spin drive I'm using for these linux experiments, and that got the installer to recognize the disk. Perhaps the Lubuntu installation from last experiment wasn't playing nice with the Mint/Fedora installers.

So, after using GParted, fedora installed ok and recognizes the SATA disk. Yay.

Still no network connection. Output from lspci lists an "Ethernet Controller: Realtek Semiconducter Co LTD RTL8125 2.5GBe controller (rev 05)"

When I open the Network gui in Fedora all I can do is configure VPNs, but I don't see a way to add an ethernet connection.

I think I am losing the plot, I can't remember why I'm messing with linux. I guess it's just to see if the system is stable in a non windows environment?
