The protocol host process XXXX did not respond and is being forcibly terminated {filter...

I noticed in Event Viewer this morning a slew of Warning messages that go like this:

The protocol host process 6384 did not respond and is being forcibly terminated {filter host process 9096}.

The host process number and the filter host process number are not always the same. Meaning every few minutes I get a new warning like this:

The protocol host process 8144 did not respond and is being forcibly terminated {filter host process 2004}.

The protocol host process 7480 did not respond and is being forcibly terminated {filter host process 896}.
The protocol host process 6880 did not respond and is being forcibly terminated {filter host process 5404}.
The protocol host process 6052 did not respond and is being forcibly terminated {filter host process 6216}.
The protocol host process 8568 did not respond and is being forcibly terminated {filter host process 5480}.

    Etc.

Here is a screen shot of Event Viewer:

The protocol host process XXXX did not respond and is being forcibly terminated {filter... c32093f4-4b62-4763-b156-44c7b41c2e34?upload=true.png

What is this and how do I fix it?

    Thanks

    :)

  2. Latest windows updates : indexing seems to never complete

51, 039 items indexed as of just now. Lots of warnings in the application logs "The protocol host process xxxx did not respond and is being forcibly terminated {filter host process yyyyy}. "

Windows 10 Start Menu Intermittent Crashes ESENT 454 412

These errors alternate, and I don't know how to fix them.

SFC /SCANNOW does not find any corrupted files.

And Windows is completely up to date.

The following logs are from event viewer in the following format:

    Event ID: Event text

412: taskhostw (5128) Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy_NOEDP_LEGACY_IDB: Unable to read the header of logfile C:\Users\Amir\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy\AppData\Indexed DB\edb00023.log.
    Error -530.

    454: taskhostw (5128) Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy_NOEDP_LEGACY_IDB: Database recovery/restore failed with unexpected error -530.

10023:The protocol host process 11856 did not respond and is being forcibly terminated {filter host process 6388}.

10024: The filter host process 6388 did not respond and is being forcibly terminated.

10024: The filter host process 13012 did not respond and is being forcibly terminated.

    Help would be appreciated.

Rebuild Indexing is Very Slow AFter Initially Being Relatively Fast.

Index encrypted files is not checked.

In Event viewer, for yesterday, I find some errors such as:

svchost (3980,R,98) DS_Token_DB: The database format feature version 9180 (0x23dc) could not be used due to the current database format 1568.20.0, controlled by the parameter 0x40000001 (JET_efvUseEngineDefault).

And today, lately, there are these:

The protocol host process 8324 did not respond and is being forcibly terminated {filter host process 6760}.

The protocol host process 9160 did not respond and is being forcibly terminated {filter host process 14460}.

Indexing is going ridiculously slow again, even though I made the change to the Registry to Disable Indexer Backoff. See Task Manager screenshot below.
