Windows 10: The random MAC address toggle in my WI-FI vanished

hey,I have been using the random hardware access settings for a while now spoofing the mac address, and it seem to have just vanished. I have went into device manager itself to manually change the MAC address, but the Network address tab just wasn't there. After all of that I went to a 3rd party software and not even that worked. I'm not sure what happened or if there is even a fix for this besides just buying a new WI-FI card

To enable random MAC addresses on Windows 11, follow these steps:

Click on the Start menu and select Settings.

Click on Network & internet.

Click on Wi-Fi.

Under the Wi-Fi network you want to use random MAC addresses for, click on the gear icon to open the network properties.

Scroll down to the "Privacy" section and toggle on the "Use random hardware addresses" option.

If you're still having trouble finding the option or it's not working properly, you may want to check if your device's network adapter supports random MAC addresses.

Random hardware addresses are used to make it harder for people to track our location when you connect to different Wi-Fi networks. To enable the feature, you need to have appropriate drivers installed on your machine. However, to address your
questions, kindly check with the below mentioned answers:

1. MAC randomization works with all type of networks.
   
2. Unless the device is connected to the network/Wi-Fi, it cannot be tracked. The MAC address can be used to track your device as it connects to various Wi-Fi access points. Hence, by enabling MAC address randomization, it is hard
   to track the device. The device can still be tracked using other information.
   
3. No, MAC address won’t change after getting connected to 1 network unless you have enabled 'Use random hardware addresses for this network'.
   
4. Yes, every network device has a unique MAC address.
