Windows 10: The recycle bin on m is corrupted. do you want to delete it?

I get the above error for drive M which is my wd ultra passport.Because of the constant error I uninstalled all programs & files then reformatted the passport.I reinstalled all programs for WD Ultra Passport Dive. the Passport does not have any files on it.Why am i still getting the error?

To prevent your files from being deleted from the Recycle Bin, we suggest increasing the maximum file size your Recycle Bin can keep by following the steps below:

• Right click on the Recycle Bin icon.
• Under the Settings for selected location, select Custom size.
• Fill up the box for your allotted maximum file size for your Recycle Bin.

Recycle Bin Corruption after Virus Removal

Hi Jim,

Thank you for taking time to post in our Microsoft Community.

If your Recycle Bin is corrupted, you can face various problems when using it.
The Recycle Bin may not show the files that you may have been deleted from your File Explorer, or you may be unable to delete the files in the Recycle Bin – or even empty the Recycle Bin completely. At times you may even receive an Access Denied or a
Corrupt Recycle Bin error message.

Follow the below steps to start troubleshooting this:

• Press Windows key + X, in the program list select
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• At the Command Prompt, type the following line, and then press ENTER:
  rd /s c:\$recycle.bin
• When prompted to confirm the deletion, type Y, and press
  Enter to confirm.
• Close the command prompt window and restart the computer.

Note: The message "The directory is not empty" may display in the command window. Ignore this message as it is related to the creation of a new directory. The files are removed.
