The Recycle Bin opens other apps on my computer. When I double click on an app it opens another app. What is going on?. I just did updates.

How do I get the recycle bin to open a window when I double click the recycle bin icon, it just started doing this but it only stays minimized

To resolve the issue with your Recycle Bin, we suggest resetting it. To do so, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key+x and then select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Copy and paste rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin and then hit
  Enter.
• Exit Command Prompt.

Recycle Bin opens in Acrobat

Thanks so much for your response. Unfortunately, it didn't help me with my problem.

The 'Uncheck bin' option wasn't listed under Acrobat. I then tried 'Option 1" and the Recycle Bin still shows an Acrobat icon which opens to Acrobat. I then tried to open the bin in office and it looks to have files that shouldn't be in the recycle bin.

When I try to open the recycle bin the window opens then closes quickly (crashes)...any other open windows also close when I try to open the bin.

i have tried

Method 1. Run CMD to fix corrupted Windows 10 recycle bin

• 1. Go to Start > Click All Programs > Accessories;
• 2. Right-click Command Prompt > Select “run cmd as administrator”.
• 3. Type: rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin and hit Enter.
• 4. Reboot computer and then you can reuse the Recycle Bin again.

If this doesn’t work, open cmd window again and type: sfc / scannow > Enter. System File Checker will check and fix the problem for you.

Have also tried the "check health" and "restore health"...

please help!!! can't edit videos if I have no confidence that I can get them back from the recycle bin if mistakes happen
