Windows 10: "The referenced account is currently locked out and may not be logged on to" error despite...

We have a domain account that intermittently encounters the error despite the password being entered correctly.Steps we've taken so far:Each time the user logs in, we verify that the password is entered correctly.Made sure all the keyboard keys are working external keyboard/laptop keyboardRejoined the computer to the domain.Reset the password to a new one.We are considering recreating the user profile next but want to confirm we've covered other troubleshooting steps. Any additional suggestions?

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for sharing additional info. Since there's no issue with your Microsoft account, the error might be caused by multiple incorrect password entry and it usually gets resolved after waiting for a couple of hours before retrying but if its still the same after a day, I suggest following the steps in the link below to help you troubleshoot.
