Hi,My corporate microsoft account was locked. The 30-minute waiting didn’t work for me also. The problem did not result from repeated incorrect password attempts.From what I remember, I used a different workstation/pc to log-in and this problem has started ever since. I restarted the pc multiple times also, reset my password but still none of those worked out. I can only access my account by pulling the LAN cable. But when I plugged-in to connect to the internet, lots of window security pop-ups asking for my user and password. I tried logging in to the workstation/pc that I used that triggered

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for sharing additional info. Since there's no issue with your Microsoft account, the error might be caused by multiple incorrect password entry and it usually gets resolved after waiting for a couple of hours before retrying but if its still the same after a day, I suggest following the steps in the link below to help you troubleshoot.

I just bought a new laptop and connected it to my microsoft account. Was able to set everything up and I was able to use it last night. When done, I shut down the computer and this morning when I try to log in again so I can use my laptop for work, it shows "the referenced account is currently locked out and may not be logged on to" without even giving me an option to enter my password. Need help asap as I need to use laptop for work.
