Windows 10: The revert option reverted me from Windows 11 into... Windows 11?

I wanted to revert my laptop to Windows 10, so I went to settings as usual and done the usual revert process... only to find that it STILL HAS BOOTED TO W11 after it apparently "went back".So I went to revert it again, and guess what, the option is locked.Please tell me how do I get back into Windows 10. I don't want 11. Windows 10 hasn't reached EOL yet, so I should be permitted to use it.

Windows 11 automatically downloads and installs, AFTER REVERTING FROM 11 TO 10.

I upgraded to Windows 11 last week, after having done my research and determined that I could revert to Windows 10 within 10 days if I didn't like it. It didn't take me 10 days, it took me about 3 hours to determine that I preferred Windows 10.

Upon reverting to from 11 to 10, I am now greeted with a popup notification stating that Windows 11 will install upon restarting my computer. There is no option to NOT do this. I don't get a choice.

The only option I am given is to completely block ALL Windows updates via regedit, and that simply is not acceptable.

What is going on? How do I NOT install Windows 11? I've already reverted from 11 to 10 THREE TIMES, with the same results.

Have you followed their advice? Install one update at a time and reboot after each one. It's a long process, but if that's the solution, and you want a working laptop, I see no other option.

As for a windows 8.1 iso, it's easy. I literally did this 2 weeks ago to my PC.

EDIT: Also, if you go direct to HP, they actually tell you to go into the BIOS, disabled "Secure boot" run the updates and reboot, and then turn "Secure boot" back on. Have you done as HP suggested?

 

Reverting from Windows 11 to Windows 10

How to revert from Windows 11 to Windows 10 without deleting my Files and Applications? I cant revert it using Windows Setting. What am I suppose to do?
