  1. The screen on time is 24 hours.

Hello. When I turned on my laptop today, I found that the screen on time was 24 hours. Last night I decided to turn off fast startup 1 time, holding down the shift. Tonight I found a very long screen on time. Tell me is it okay?

    :)

  2. Windows 10. 12 to 24 hours

    Hi Sandra,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

To change the time format from 12 hour to 24 hour in Windows 10.

    Follow the steps:

    • Navigate to Control panel.
    • In the category view of the control panel, click on the
‘Change date, time, or number formats’.
    • Change the short time to HH:mm from the drop down.
    • Press Apply to make the changes.
    • Now your time format will change to 24 hour format.
Hope this helps, let us know if you need further assistance.

  3. Time settings 12 vs 24 hour clock

I have an issue here in Thailand. I go in to Time settings and change everything to 24 hour clock and press apply and then OK.

The result is that the time shown in the lower right hand corner of the screen is 24 hours but the log in screen is 12 hour AND the sleep/screen shows 24 hour clock.

How do you fix that, i.e. the log in screen issue? I have reboted several times.

I have been to Acer (my laptop provider) as I bought a new with Windows 10 preinstalled and they claim it is a Windows problem. When at Acer we also tried it on HP and the same problem is there

    Kind regards

    Hans

Win10 Default Lock Screen theme does not show 24 Hour Time

I regularly use the 24 hour time format for all of my systems.
Its not a major issue I have now with Win10, but its annoying a bit.

Before I logon to Windows 10, the default lock screen theme has the time in 12 hour format instead of the 24 hour format.
In Windows, I set everything in 24 hour time. Period. I just don't like 12 hour time.
However, when I sign out or just by locking my screen, it does show the time in 24 hour format.
But when I reboot my system it shows the time in 12 hour format.

Is this a bug or what in Win10?

    Thanks!
