Windows 10: The screen restarts in a loop with just the dell logo and then a black screen.

I tried to reset my dell laptop on windows 10 by deleting all the data. But now it just keeps restarting the pc and I get the dell logo and then the black screen and it repeats.

Hi, on my dell laptop I installed windows 10 perfectly fine. I then did a restart of the laptop but every time I turn the laptop on the dell logo shows up and then...... Nothing. Just a black screen. anyone know how to fix?

Dell stuck in update/restarting loop. Can’t open in winRE.

I tried to turn on my Dell XPS and it is stuck in a continuous loop.

The Dell logo flashes. Then a black screen with the message “Updates are underway. Please keep your computer on.” Then a black screen with the message “restarting”. Then back to the Dell logo.

I have tried shutting off and on 4 times to start winRE but it just stays stuck in this loop. I cannot get recovery or safe mode to start.

Black screen of death loop


I installed windows 10 and it seems great, except every now and again it restarts out of nowhere. Then it will go into this loop of restarts with this screen I've captured and then restart again. Today the computer was in sleep mode and I started using it for 10 minutes then bam, black screen of death restart loop. It will show these white boxes at the top of the black screen then restart again. I have a photo but I don't see how to upload here. Any ideas?
