Windows 10: The search bar on my windows bar and windows explorer stop working after the windows update...

Dear all,I encounter an issue where my windows the bar stop working the start bar won't show up after clicking on the windows logo nor pressing the windows key and the search box on the bottom left corner isn't working it isn't responding after clicking on it. Similar issue goes to my search bar in my normal windows explorer, which makes it extremely difficult to browse through my seas of applications just to find the software that I need. I had tried to reinstalled previous version and it doesn't work. Other than that, my Personalization > Taskbar only shows "task view" instead of the

Using Windows 10 and currently I am using Defender for anti virus. For whatever reason Windows Defender does not show up in the task bar unless I search for the program or right click and scan a file/folder. Is there a way to force Defender to show up in the task bar at start up?
