    Ive been having this problem ever since I reseted my whole pc because of my boot thingy got corrupted and it didn't wanna work anymore so I got a usb with windows 11 on it and had to reinstalled windows 11 on my pc again but then a few days later I started to gets these random resets and freezing. But oldly enough If I have a game launch in the background then it wont freeze but as soon as I close the game 30s later the computer will freeze and I would have to hard reset. please help.

    Windows 8 Secure Boot Feature: Not So Secure?

    So Linux is switching to secure boot also? Or they have to because of UEFI?

    Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

    I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.
