Windows 10: the security identifier could not be resolved Remote desktop service in RODC environment

Hi, I trying to set up a remote app collection. When I try to use user assignment for the remoteapp programs it thows the error "The security identifier could not be resolved. Ensure that a two-way trust exists for the domain of the selected users. Eception :The network path was not found". The server lives in a RODC environment. I can resolve the group for example domain admins but then i get error aboveEnvironment is single domain, single forest so why a trust error dsgetdc:<domain> works fineDNS resolving also fineAny help pointing me in a solution would be great Regards Andre

RODC config

Hi,

I was wondering if I could get some assistance.

I have built a RODC in my DMZ but I can't get my other DMZ servers to authenticate against that RODC, as it only authenticates with a local account.

I have done the following:

Setup a DMZ site in AD sites and services

Pointed the DNS of my DMZ server to my RODC

Added a test account and dmz server name to the Allowed RODC Password Replication Group

I have searched for information online but haven't had much luck.

Could someone point me in the direction of some documentation or advise what steps I may be missing?

- Which version of Windows 10 Operating System are you using?

- Were you able to upgrade to Windows 10 successfully?

I suggest you to refer the below steps and see if this helps.

• 
  Enable remote desktop in settings
  
  • Control Panel\System and Security\System, Click "Remote Settings" on the left side
• 
  Verify my port forwarding settings were properly forwarding to my computers local IP address
  
  • run "cmd.exe" and then type "ipconfig". Find your IP from that list

• Make sure your firewall settings are open
• Go to "Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Firewall\Allowed apps"

• On the left, click "Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall"
• Click "Change Settings"
• Find "Remote Desktop" in the list and make sure both "Private" and "Public" is checked.
