i reinstalled windows 11 home and now I am getting the error 7030 The service is marked as an interactive service. However, the system is configured to not allow interactive services. This service may not function properly in the event viewer, why and how can i fix it ?

I'm having a hard time making my USB WiFI adapater and RedGear gamepad work on my PC. Both the devices are shown under "Other devices" in the Device Manager. If I try to update the driver automatically or by pointing the direction to the WinSxS folder (got
that from another forum, I guess), I get an error that "Windows found drivers for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install them."

When I looked the Event Viewer it showed the following error; "The RealtekWlanU service is marked as an interactive service. However, the system is configured to not allow interactive services. This service may not function properly." I couldn't find anything
related to the gamepad there though.

This is going on for a week now on my new PC and is really frustrating. Any help would be really appreciated.

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are facing a difficult situation on the PC and I appreciate the efforts taken by you in troubleshooting this issue.

1. Are you aware of any changes made to the PC?
   
2. Have you installed all pending updates on the computer?
   
3. Is the computer connected to any Domain Network?
   

This issue can occur if some of the system files and drivers are not working as expected.

Let us try these steps one by one to check if that helps.

Step 1: Suggest you to plug in the USB device and
run the USB troubleshooter on the computer. Follow the on-screen directions to complete the process. If you get a prompt to ‘apply fix it’ then proceed further to apply that fix it. Once this is done, restart the PC and
check if that helps with the USB Wi-Fi adapter.

Step 2: Let us ensure to reinstall the drivers from Device Manager and restart the computer to check if that helps or makes any difference.

Open Device Manager, right-click (or tap and hold) the name of the device, and select Uninstall. Restart your PC, and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver automatically.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I'm not sure you understand the problem here? USB Root hub controllers are working fine and there is no "affected root hub." Pardon me if I'm missing something here. My USB wifi adapter and controllers are not recognized by
the system or it is blocking the usage of that (not sure, how to put it). My Keyboard and mouse work no matter which port I connect them to, so this has got to be something else. The error message that I posted in my first question about the interactive services
could be the case??
