Windows 10: The Settings app crashes on clicking 'Optional Features'

Hi allI'm facing a strange problem I've never seen before.A few days back, I opened the settings app to check for updates. Then navigated to 'Advanced Options' to check if there were any optional updates. There was 1. When I clicked to open it, the whole settings app crashed. This happened every time I clicked it.Here is a screen recording of the issue

How to remove all entries in windows 10 Optional Feature History

• To remove an app or a feature, select the feature and click on the Uninstall button.

Clicking on "Apps and Features" crashes settings window

I am experiencing some issues with the settings window.

Every time I click on Settings>System>Apps and Features the whole window crashes/closes down.

I tried going to the Add/Remove program option through the search option in the top right as I know this is inside the Apps and Features section but the same thing occurs. Windows performed an update yesterday but I am unsure as to whether this is the cause.
Any help would be appreciated?

I have a brand new ASUS N551JQ Running Windows 10 Home.

Missing "Apps & Features > Advanced option"

I recently recovered my windows 10 from the newest update as a lot of my apps are not compatible yet.

Then I realized that many of the windows built-in apps such as Maps, Photos are not working anymore. (They instantly close/crash)

I found a solution online:

1. Open the Start menu and click Settings.
2. Click Apps & Features.
3. Locate and click _______ from the Applications list.
4. Click Advanced option.
5. Select Reset

However, I don't have the advanced option displayed when I choose an app (any app, including functional ones)

Is there a way to fix this? or do I have to "reset this PC"?
