Windows 10: The shuffle option in Groove Music App

I recently updated Groove Music to the latest version 11.2212.31.0 and then I noticed that my playlist always starts to play the first song in the list even Shuffle option is ON. this issue wasn't in the previous version. until a fix is available what can I do to workaround and solve this?

Hi, in Groove music app, how do I "shuffle all" but, only from the same genre?

I quite like the Groove Music App - even though I have iTunes when I do a workout this simple App works for me better.

One thing that really is bugging me though is the shuffle button - I mainly use it on music that I've added to a playlist to mix things up a bit but in terms of shuffling it's really poor - it seems to stay on the same album for far too many plays without going further down the playlist.

Aside from that it's an OK App.

I set everything up with file explorer(the music files themselves) then used Windows Media Player(in all apps) to set up my playlist's(in my case by genre and shuffled) then Groove found the playlists and I pinned them to start. I prefer the sound quality from Groove(I use HDMI to my Home Cinema) and the UI for just playing,
