    The snipping tool cannot immediately edit the image.


    One day, I suddenly found that when I press Win+Shift+S to capture the screen, a notification pops up in the bottom right corner. After clicking on the Snip & Sketch tool, I should be able to see the captured screen inside the tool. However, it's not appearing now. Here are the settings inside my Snip & Sketch tool.<---I should see the screenshot I captured here

    Snipping Tool Enlarging Images

    Hi Heather,

    Snipping Tool has various options on how you can capture images in your computer. To change it to normal snipping, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows + S to open Search Box.
    • Type Snipping Tool, then click it.
    • Click New.
    • Click the drop-down menu in New.
    • Select Rectangular Snip.

    Please try this:

    Step 1:

    Click Start, and type Snipping Tool.

    Right-click Snipping Tool from the search results, and click App Settings

    Click Reset,

    Click Repair.

    Note: In Windows 11, there is no Snip and Sketch. It comes pre-installed with the new Snipping Tool (which replaces the old Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps)

    Step 2:

    Turn off Focus assist if it's enabled

    Step 3:

    Open Services.msc and make sure that the following services are set to "Automatic" and running:

    • Windows Push Notifications System Service
    • Windows Push Notifications User Service
