Windows 10: the snipping tool is not responding

as of today, the snipping tool isnt responding to clicks. what is the logical course of action to remedy this glitch?*Shock

There is certainly a way to remove the live tiles in your Windows 10 Start menu. Kindly refer to these steps below:

• Press the Windows key to launch the Start menu.
  
• Right-click on each tile and Unpin from Start. Repeat this step until all tiles are removed.
• Once all the tiles are gone, you may now resize the Start menu by dragging the right edge all the way to the left.

If you decided to use the Start menu live tiles again, just drag the right edge towards to the right. Right-click on a shortcut icon and select
Pin to Start.

By any chance, is there a way to turn off the Tiles?

I don't see the point of Tiles on a non touch screen device (like my desktop and laptop). I don't like fingerprints or other marks on my screens. A user preference option would be nice.

In my opinion, for my desktop and laptop, I prefer the latest version of Windows 10 menu more than those of Windows 8, 8.1 and previous versions/instances of Windows 10, so thanks for improving the Windows 10 menu.

 

My first course of action if any app starts behaving oddly it to select Restart from the Power button on the Start menu. Not Shutdown, because only Restart can do a cold start if you have fast startup enabled (which by default it is).

You should try the simplest solutions first before looking for a more complex 'fix'.
