it doesn't matter if I use my headset or my speakers... the sound on both of them is off by a lot... it seems like 90% of the sound comes out right side and like 10% comes out left side...

its really annoying... everything on my computer is brand new... from motherboard to headset... same thing happened last week and I managed to fix it, but I can't remember what I did to fix it... can somebody help in finding a solution?

    :)

  2. Windows 10 Making Eyes & Head Hurt??

Unless you have a really old Nvidia GPU there's a Win 10 driver, you have to scroll up in the list rather than down.

Edited: I'd suggest you uninstall your driver with DDU.

  3. Audio Balance in Windows 10

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check-

    • Click on Start and then control panel.
    • Open the option of Sound and in the tab of
      playback
click on the windows displaying speakers. This enables the button properties, click on it.
    • This opens new window as Speakers properties, here click on the tab
      Levels.
    • Now click on the button Balance in front of the speaker volume bar.
    • This will open another small window of Balance. Here you may adjust the balance between the left and right speakers as per requirement.
Hope this helps. Let us know the results.

    Thanks,

    Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue The sound on my computer is far from being balanced so everything I do hurts my head... :p

Windows 10 Making Eyes & Head Hurt??: Windows 8.1 was fine. But for some reason Windows 10 is seriously making my eyes and head hurt. I have no idea why. I don't know if Win10 is brighter by default. But if I lower the brightness, it makes the colours look too dark and out of proportion. Don't think it does much...

Hi, my impressions so far: I've installed Win 10 on two PC's, one a clean install and another upgraded Windows 8.1 on an old Atom based machine. No real major dramas so far, everything seems snappier than Windows 8.1 and much better than Windows 7, which I rarely use anymore. I've had a couple of...
