Windows 10: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted

When I was trying to fix my connection with my wife. I tried to solve it by anything online but none of it worked so I resorted to reinstalling windows and reset as a last resort. Can you specify what you mean by, "In either case, in order to logon as the local administrator when the computer is a member of a domain, you need to enter it in the format of .\administrator.

The .\ informs the computer to use a local account." ?

I apologize again for my technical vocabulary.

*p.s. if you intended for me to enter .\administrator into the username and password blanks, I did that and the same message came up, "The specified domain either does not exist or could not
be contacted."

i restored windows 10 to factory settings. when my laptop restarted there appeared winlogon.exe error. application was terminated and proceeded to administrator log in. However, I cannot log in with the message "the specified domain either does not exist
or cannot be contacted" what shall I do? please help

I reset my pc and kept files. It suddenly started to undo changes. So I reset it again, and it couldn't boot anymore. I reset it 3 more times and now I can't login. It just says "The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted" I tried
to reset it again but now there is no option to, I can't even login into safe mode, it gives the same message.
