Windows 10: “The system cannot read from the specified device.“ How to solve the problem?

Hello! I have a problem with transferring photos from iPhone to PC, when I try to transfer all the photos, I get an error: "The system cannot read from the specified device." But I can transfer photos in HEIC, PNG, JPG formats freely without any problems, and I can't transfer videos and photos in MOV format with such a problem. I transfer the photos in the original format selected in iPhone settings. Please help me to solve this problem

I'm trying to import photos to my pc from my iphone. I'm able to import many of the photos without a problem. For others I'm getting the message "the system cannot read from the specified device". I've tried importing using Photos, Faststone Viewer and directly from my phone, without success. Interestingly, I can send the same photos via email and they download fine. Any suggestions?

I understand that when you transfer photos to your computer, some of the photos will prompt "The system cannot read from the specified device", can you check what format the images that can't be transferred are in?

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
