Windows 10: the system detected an overrun on explorer.exe error I can't use my internal display

Can I enter the RE operation in external Monitor ? My main screen isn't working I'm stucked at login page it said something happened and your pin isn't available. Click to setup your pin again and if I click on setup my pin it shows search for app in store after clicking yes the error occurs that says the system detected an overrun on explorer.exe error, I don't know what to do please help me .

On a Windows 10 desktop today there was this error message...

“The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this application“

Any suggestion as to what the problem is and how to rectify the problem?

1) Go over Windows using this checklist to make sure the install is set up correctly, optimized for best performance, and any needed repairs get done: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues (which is the #1 fix for your error), then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files, and also Step 16 to test a new Local Admin account. Then continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.

2) Re-register the Settings app in Windows 10 as shown here:

Buffer Overrun Detected

I updated my computer from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Before I did I did a backup of files.

Now when I go to restore the files I get the following error:

Buffer Overrun Detected!

Program: ....ckward\TouchSmart\Media\Kernel\CLML\CLMLSvc.exe

A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted this program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated.

What is wrong? What do I do? I really need files of my backup which is on a Seagate backup drive.
