    The System Detected overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application.


    Hi, When I try to open the Network and Internet settings from the taskbar, I get the following error:Even When I try to open it from settings I get the following error.Bur if I click on my ethernet name I can go to that page, but clicking on the Status option gives out that error.I do not want to perform a clean install or a repair upgrade, cause it is very time consuming and my pc is slow.So any other solution?

    On a Windows 10 desktop today there was this error message...

    “The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this application“

    Any suggestion as to what the problem is and how to rectify the problem?
