    Hi! Earlier today I got a pop up with a message like this> Application popup: WinRAR.exe - System Error : The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this application.at the time I was using WinRAR5.9164-bit to browse some files. After that popup, I immediately ran a scan on Windows Defender though no threats found. I also ran

    On a Windows 10 desktop today there was this error message...

    “The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this application“

    Any suggestion as to what the problem is and how to rectify the problem?
