    Installation of windows 10 : "The system registry contains invalid paths "

    Started installing Windows 10 on my windows 7 pro PC

    Got a prompt saying storage not enough

    So i shrinked the size of D:\ drive and increased size of C:\drive

    Everything went well but then i received a message with blue background saying ; The system registry contains invalid paths The system registry contains invalid file paths – Windows 10 Upgrade error :(

    Please help

    The folder path '?WINDOWS' contains an invalid character

    -> Folder names cannot contain a question mark.

    I modified the registry as directed.

    -> What was the registry hack you applied?

    Please do this:

    3. Press Enter.
    4. Open the desktop file Env.txt and copy its contents into your reply.
