Windows 10: the task bar keeps appearing over games in full screen and borderless mode .

good morning everyone.i am having a problem with my windows 11 task bar , when i open games or programs in full screen or borderless window which both cover the entire screen the task bar isnt hiding it self like before there is a option in the settings to make the task bar hide automatically but in any game if i drag my mouse downwards it just pops up again and i hate that very much is there a way to make the task bar work like it was before where borderless window just goes over it , i really hate the look of the task bar taking the bottom 5% of the screen the up hiding important info.

Most likely Tablet Mode, as dmholt57 suggests.

Another posibility is accidentally pressing F11 which switches a browser to full screen mode.

 

Borderless Window games not minimizing?

After the most recent Microsoft updates, i have been unable to minimize full screen and full screen borderless games. I have two monitors and when I minimize a game it stays on the screen and still keeps focus unlike before. I have the most up to date graphics
drivers too.

I cant view anything behind the game but I can still browse on the second monitor fine. This is getting irritating when I want to do something that is behind my game because I either need to fully close the game or set it to windows mode and drag it out
of the way to see things behind it and even when I do this is still stays on the screen overlaying it. It appears to be like when you have Task manger to always be on top but it is doing it with games at full screen.

Is there any fix for this as speaking to two of my friends who also play a lot of games with multiple monitors, it appears they are also having the exact same issue.

We all have SSD's as primary hard drives.

Xbox Game Bar stops V-Sync when recording in borderless, and stops recording randomly when not.

I play Geometry Dash on Steam, and I usually record it using Xbox Game Bar. Very frequently, it stops recording and turns to a black screen, where I have to do Ctrl+Alt+Del to get out of the black screen. When I get out, Game Bar tells me I can't record without setting my game to fullscreen borderless. When I set it to fullscreen borderless, it locks V-Sync to off and locks the fps to 60, which is irritating because that makes my 75Hz monitor tear, which makes the game unplayable. Is there any way to not make Game Bar need borderless to record or let V-Sync stay on with borderless?
