Windows 10: The titlebar text of some applications suddenly changed to huge font size. How can I...

Here are screenshots from Sublme Text, Notepad++, and ChimeraX. It's the Titlebar of these and many other programs, popups, and installers.

Mouseover/Icon text is suddenly huge!


No, I'm not using any Magnifier apps.

I haven't changed my default settings. They are as follows:





....and here are the setting in Advanced:





as noted earlier, I see this also in Powerpoint but not Word or Excel. The following screenshot is of Word (which is all correct and normal sized) against Adobe and Powerpoint both. You can see the obvious differences in font sizes.....

Font Size

The font size in my Windows 10 Environment suddenly became larger and I don't know how to change it back to a smaller text size. Any suggestions here?

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the font size and check if it helps.

• Go to settings and click on system.
• Under display tab there's a slider on this page that you can use to change the size of text, apps and other items.
