    Hi, i am running windows 10 and have just had to delete and re-install my work email on 365 as my 6 monthly password needed changing and it kept saying I couldnt connect to the internet to change itfor some reason.

    Uninstalling and reinstalling it worked, but when I tried to log into the main PC under OEM administrator log in, it keeps saying the ‘users password must be changed before signing in’.

    I haven’t set up a password so can’t change it (!) , have tried system restore, changing administrator to standard without any joy.

    i am able to log in from my old account but all of my files are in the OEM one...please help!

    password sign in

    Hi,

    About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

    If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    • Go to Settings.
    • Click on Accounts.
    • Click on Sign in options.
    • On the right side, you will see required sign in.
    • Change it to Never.

    How Do I Change my Log On / Sign In Password?


    I am able to change the password on my administrator email account. I am able to change the passwords on my user email accounts. I am not able to change the password for logging on or signing in to Windows 10 Pro when I boot my computer in the morning. (Please don't tell me my email password is the same as my log on / sign in password) Suggestions? Advice?

    Changing User Accounts Password

    Hi Eddy,



    If you are an Admin user for your Windows 10 device, it’s still possible to change another user’s password. To perform the said task, follow these steps:



    • Simultaneously press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
    • Once accessed, type netplwiz and hit
      Enter.
    • Select the user and choose Reset password.
    • Change it to your preferred password.


    Once done, you may close the window and try to use the new password for the account.



    Don’t hesitate to give us updates on your query.
