Windows 10: The video preview in apps->video playback is blank, nothing runs.

It's just blank. The same with the HDR video streaming panel. All the preview videos are blank. How to get something to show there?see screenshot. clicking play button does nothing and there is no video in preview. I'm using Intel latest UHD graphics driver from their site.

  Troubleshoot computer problems.

  Click on Advanced on the Video playback dialog box and click on

Please run the Video Playback troubleshooter and see if the issue will persist. To run the troubleshooter, please follow the steps below:

1. Press the Windows and I keys to open Settings.
2. Click on Update & Security.
3. Click on Troubleshoot.
4. Under Find and fix other problems, look for Video Playback
   and click on it.
5. Click Run the troubleshooter.
