Windows 10: the weather app is not displaying the weather, etc when you click start

For some reason the weather app is not displaying the weather, etc when you click start. How can this be fixed? this is in the latest build 10162

Is the MSN weather app different than the Weather app in All apps?

There are weather apps that can be set to show your weather on the lock screen. I use the "Amazing Weather HD" app on my
phone and there's a setting within that app that I could set to show weather from that app on my phone's lockscreen.

 

Try opening the store, and running updates

 

I checked for a update(s) for that app and there are none at present.

 

Can anyone else shed some light on this one because there are no updates available for the weather app.

 

Just to be sure, have you accidentally turned the live tile off?

 

Try syncing licenses(can one still do that in the latest build?) if it doesn't work try typing wsreset in file explorer's address bar. this resets windows store which also resets all store apps.

 

This is really strange; all the sudden; the weather app started working today without me even doing anything. Go figure!. A slight glitch? maybe? lol

 

Windows settled in? Or Automatic Maintenance took care it? Oh I know I know... Data Gremlins, I get those quite often on beta OS's*Smile.
