deactivate touchpad on Toshiba Satellite

My mother uses a Toshiba Pro Satellite. She is blind so does not use the touchpad (keystrokes instead). It was deactivated but something has happened & it is now active again. This means she can not use her laptop because she brushes the touchpad & it interferes
with what she is trying to type. Very frustrating.

Have tried Fn F9. Clicking on touchpad icon. Gone into settings to search for options. There is nothing that allows me to deactivate the touchpad.

Please any help would be greatly appreciated. Mum uses her laptop for lots of things & not having it operational for her is a real problem.

Wireless Indicator Light


Toshiba Satellite laptop, L55 series

There are 3 indicator lights on the front of my computer. The 3rd one is the wireless indicator light. It's always orange, whereas the others are white. Just curious?

 

Toshiba Satellite A215 Running..Lights on but no display

i have a Toshiba Satellite A215
and nothing appears good on it.
Running.., Power Indicator lights on..but no display in or eksternal lcd monitor

So i disasemble that laptop, and i test board and found some fuse and mosfet.
Which one i have to change ?

How to test a 8 pins MOSFET on myboard ?
if..
S pin= 19v
D pin= 0 v
G pin= 19v
