Windows 10: The Windows 10 Movies & TV app does not display subtitles, but the Photos app displays them.

I have .mkv videos with subtitles already in them but when I play them in Movies & TV app they aren't displayed. This isn't the case with another .mkv videos, the others are working properly. Weird thing is that when I tried to play the video in Photos app I discovered that there are subtitles as they should be. So my question is: What should I do to fix Movies & TV app? I know I could just watch this video in Photos app but I think this app is a bit worse.

How to view movies with subtitles in the Movies&Tv app on Windows 10 ????

I have many movies and the .srt file for them but I can't view subtitles on the Movies&Tv app. Other than this the app great it has really convinced me to shift from vlc but the option of playing subs??

What do you mean by releasing Cyrillic subtitles on Movies & TV? If it's
on and you want to remove it, right-click anywhere on the video then click the CC icon. If you want to display the subtitle on the video, follow the same steps. Note that the subtitle has to be included on the video file itself. Otherwise, you
will see a pop-up windows display Not available.

Windows 10 Movies & TV Subtitle Syncing

Is there an option to sync subtitles in the Windows Movies & TV app? In VLC, you can press g or h to change the subtitle timing by 50ms, is there a way to do this in Windows Movies & TV? The subtitles on my movie are appearing and disappearing a few seconds
too soon, it gets annoying pretty fast.
