Windows 10: The Windows DVD players is not working at all.

When I try to load the app with a DVD in the tray, it closes. If I start it without a DVD in the tray, and then insert one after the fact, the app closes. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it twice, I paid Microsoft 15 dollars for this application, why doesn't it work. My DVD drive works for other applications, it can read DVDs, but for some reason, when it comes to Microsoft's paid product, it doesn't work. Please help me fix it so I don't feel like I was scammed for a product that should have been free in the first place.

Burned DVD's Work in SOME players

In that case, it is possible the problem is with the blu ray player not supporting DVD+R disks.

Suggest you check to make sure: it's possible you can overcome this problem by simply burning DVD-R instead of DVD+R. Check your blu ray compatibility list first.
