    the windows store doesn't recognize that Minecraft has an update the Minecraft version in the windows store is out of date and although the game still works by itself this means we can not connect to any server or realm as they have all been updated. Many others have the same problem as I posted this on Mojang support and they have been worthless.

    I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below, to disable automatic updates for Minecraft.

    Steps:-

    1. On the Start screen, select Microsoft Store to open the Store.
    2. Select the account menu (next to the search box), then select Settings.
    3. Under App updates, set Update apps automatically to
      NO.
