  3. winring0_1_2_0 service failed to start

Hi! I have recently got a problem where Windows will freeze. Kinf of like how it does right before a BSOD where the audio repeats endlessly and the only way to stop it is restarting my pc. I looked up Even Viewer to see what may cause the problem and the only error I see that comes around that time is the following:

    Event 700, Service Control Manager

The WinRing0_1_2_0 service failed to start due to the following error:

    WinRing0_1_2_0 is not a valid Win32 application.

Is there a way to fix this? I have tried running sfc /scannow aswell but it didn't find anythong wrong. I don't really do anything special that causes these problems since it happens seamingly at random

    winring0_1_2_0 service failed to start

The WinRing0_1_2_0 service is mostly seen on infected computers. For example, Coinminer.Win64.MALXMR.TIAOODDP.

Download Malwarebytes Antimalware and run a full scan. Eliminate every malware it finds.

If the problem persists, do the following:

    • Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST64.exe)
    • Run FRST64.exe and click "Scan".
    • Upload the two logs, namely, FRST.txt and Addition.txt, to your OneDrive and share the link here.
