Windows 10: The Your Phone App not being able to send to certain people or groups.

"we couldn't send your reply try replying from your phone for this one"This is what happens when I try to send to a group of 2 people. Always the particular group of 2 people but not individually. What mechanism is causing this to happen with the your phone app. I have been complaining about this and never getting it solved for probably 2 years. ever since the beta of the your phone app. The text can be one word or a sentence but it still will not work.

Hi,

Let's get this resolved. We would suggest performing these steps:

• From the start screen, tap People app.
• If necessary, touch the screen and slide right to display the together
  screen.
• Scroll down to Groups, then select the group you want to send a message to.
• Tap text.
• Enter your message.
• When finished, tap the Send icon.

Note: If Group Text is enabled in Settings > Applications > Messaging > Group Text, the responses to a group will be sent as MMS message. Disable Group Text if you don't want the messages to be
converted

Can't send group text or SMS..I don't want to send SMS using any 3rd party app or Groupme

Thank you for your post.

Please try to send your texts with the Group Text feature off by following those steps:

• 
  Open the Messaging app and tap the (...) three dots at the bottom right of the screen.
  
• 
  Tap Settings.
  
• 
  Slide "Group Text" to off.
  

This doesn't disable the ability to send a text to multiple people, it sends the message as normal SMS instead of MMS.

No Groups in Windows 10 People App?

I have Office 2010 installed and have never used the Outlook Mail feature contained in it since back in Office 2003. I have always used
Windows Essentials 2012 with Windows Live Mail. That was
the best email program. You could have all your email accounts brought to onto your computer in a central location. You could create groups in your contacts to send a batch email. I haven't read a decent explanation why MS killed
this program. Now I am forced to log onto the web version of Outlook to send a group email. The People section on the Outlook website does let you create a "named list" of contacts that is similar to a group. Why this feature can't be migrated to the People
App in Windows 10 doesn't make sense to me.

I have posted in the Feedback for the People App in Windows 10
several times. There is quite a list of unhappy Windows 10 users.

As I've stated this problem goes back to the release of the Windows 8.0 OS for desktops and laptops. The release was in 2012. People immediately started to voice their displeasure but Microsoft has turned a deaf ear towards it's customers.

In Windows 8, how do I create a contact group?
