Windows 10: Theft problem

My secondary PC was recently stolen and the person who took it knows my computer password. I have windows 10, and I believe my Microsoft account is linked into it because I only have an administrator account in the device.


If I were to change my Microsoft password, this would also change my computer password, correct?


If not, do you know of any other security measures I can take?


Already removed all of my saved passwords from my Gmail account and changed nearly all of them.


Please help!

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...


That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

theft aware not working after restart,on my n8 belle.are u guys also facing the same problem

Theft Aware - Uninstalling or re-launching the stalled app

To uninstall Theft Aware open it, deactivate Theft Aware and now you see Theft Aware in the list of your apps and can uninstall it. If you think you already uninstalled it - but it still seems to be on the phone please install this package on your phone:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/27553331/RescueFile.sis - this will give you an icon in the app menu again with which you can launch Theft Aware. Then deactivate Theft Aware and uninstall
it.
