Windows 10: THEMES shows in setting but not in theme folder inside local folder!

I have windows 10 Ent has themes showing in setting but while i am trying to find in C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes no files found related to themes files name


Please advice how to trace that themes files

Windows themes not showing up in themes folder

I recently downloaded some themes from the Windows store and noticed that they aren't showing up in my themes folder. The last time I downloaded themes was in May. The ones I downloaded on 7-18-18 and on haven't shown up in my themes folder C:/Users/UserName/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Themes.
I have Windows 10 v.1803.

So where are the themes storing to now?

I do like to look at the image to see all the images since the store only shows about 4. I also like to like to make my own slideshows or use an image for my lock screen when that doesn't work right.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

 

Theme folders

Hi Jim,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft community.

All of the default Themes that are installed with Windows are located in the below path:

C:\Windows\Resources\Themes folder.

Note: This is also where all of the system files that enable themes and other display components are located.

Any other Themes that a user downloads and installs are placed in the below path:

C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes folder.

To get the particular Desktop background access the same above path and check for the Theme folder:

C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\Theme-name folder\desktopbackground\

When you download a Theme pack, you must double click the downloaded file to
install the theme.

Important: If you manually move the themes to another folder, the system will not be able to find them and they will not appear in the Personalization component.

Theme folders

It is not quite what I was looking for. When I am in the themes folder and click on a theme it does not open to show all the pictures in that heading. I want to look at the themes and pick one individual picture from the theme selected. At the moment if
I click on a theme it automatically loads a picture from the theme and sometimes automatically sets it off randomly scrolling through the pictures of the theme. When I was on windows 7 and clicked on a theme it opened up to show all the pictures in the theme and
also gave the option of scrolling the theme or using one picture from the theme.
