    There are TWO of Me! on my Windows PC!


    I have an issue with two of me on my PC. One I created with my name 'Carole' the other the cloud created with the name 'Carol'. I have tried in vain to remove the wrong 'Carol' but all to no success. It cannot be deleted, nor can it be renamed. When I open File Explorer and go to Windows C; i have 'Windows' and 'Windows old'. The wrong Carol seems to be attached to Windows Old. If I go down another notch to 'Network' and click on that, I have 'Carol' and 'Carole'. I cannot delete or rename 'Carol'. I have not created it. I think One Drive did and didn't know enough to see how I spelled my nam

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    PC Build Steps

    Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??
