    There are Two Windows folders on my disc, and Im having troubles to delete them


    I've noticed for a while that were 2 Windows folder on my local drive, the folder from 2022 was a copy where i didnt had any permission to access. I've tried to do some disks recovery, tried the command chkdsk on the entire machine but couldnt fixthe problem.But when I tried to use Revo Uninstaller to remove it from my drive, but after that, it created a lot of cloned folders, now my local C looks like this:https://imgur.com/K4hw0Fq

    Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

    *Confused There are Two Windows folders on my disc, and Im having troubles to delete them :confused:

    Trouble deleting a folder

    Download norton commander for windows and try it. I`m using it for deleting those autorun.inf virus files that stuck to the USB drives or second non system partition. If no file is used from windows folder NC should erase it easy. And there is Hiren`s boot disk that you can download it is bootable and has volkov commander on it similar to NC and it runs in DOS and it will delete windows folder 100%. Or you can make USB stick bootable and use deltree command.

    Trouble deleting a folder

    Maybe if you have a spare drive, you can install a temporary winXP or win2000 and delete the offending folder from there?
